I have lived in Boston for three years, and half the time I still have no idea where I am. Seriously I could be near a place I’ve been to five times and still be surprised when I see it looming a few blocks away. “We’re near the ICA? That’s where we are?” Boston is ridiculously easy to get lost in. So last Friday when I met Lauren and Jeff at South Station for their engagement shoot, I confessed right off that I pretty much had no idea where I was and that they could take the lead as far as directing us to different locations on our photo walk.
Where did we photograph? Beats me. I think we were somewhere near the ICA because I saw it in the distance at one point. Oh and there was a little grassy spot in front of what might have been a public building… there was a river… and I think I saw the edge of Chinatown. Anyway it didn’t really matter in the end because I love how their photos came out!
