Here are a few more of my favorites from Whitney and Phil’s destination wedding in La Jolla, California. I loved their rings, which I photographed two ways (top two photos). Their wedding bands had their fingerprints engraved. And check out Phil’s robot cufflinks! To get the black background, I photographed them on an iPhone.
Whitney and Phil actually got engaged via iPhone. Crazy right? They are both techies and so there were lots of technology details at their wedding, including reading their vows from their iPhones! Photos of their ceremony coming up tomorrow.
Here are some details from their wedding. Whitney’s headpiece came from William Chambers Millinery in the U.K. Her necklace was created by Revisions on Etsy. The bouquet locket with a photo of her grandmother also came from Etsy, and was created by Aristocrafty. The ring bearer bowl (pictured below) was by Paloma’s Nest. Her dress and shoes were both by J. Crew. Phil wore a Calvin Klein suit, and his robot cufflinks were created by CosmicFirefly on Etsy. Whitney and Phil designed all of their own RSVPs and invitations.
Stay tuned tomorrow for photos from their ceremony and reception at the Museum of Contemporary Art at La Jolla.
