These are a few of my favorite photographs from Chrissy and Tim’s wedding at the Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation. Chrissy is a bookmaker and illustrator and designed all of the paper goods (stationery, program, invitations & signage). Her dress and purse were created by her friend. Guest tables were named after 19th Century inventors.

You’ll notice there are clocks in a few photos — Waltham, Massachusetts was home to the Waltham watch and clock company and clockmaking is part of the City’s history. I like to take lots of detail photos because they tell so much about the place and time, and the things people enjoy and value. I actually have a Waltham watch from the 1920′s. It was my great-great-aunt’s prized possession and it still works!

On the most beautiful June day, Heidi and John were married at Belle Mer in Newport, Rhode Island. It was more than 18 months from our first meeting until their wedding. It seemed like forever that I was looking forward to this day! Heidi and John aren’t afraid to share their feelings about each other and express love towards others — they were such a wonderful couple to photograph.

Their wedding also had oh so many details — here’s the info on just a few: stationery and paper goods were designed by Miss Pickles Press. Florals were designed by Stoneblossom of Rhode Island. Music was provided by Boston’s Night Rhythm.  StillMotion traveled from Toronto and San Francisco to provide videography. A few weeks ago I photographed Mara and Frank’s wedding in Thompson, Connecticut. Their ceremony and reception were both held at Marianapolis Preparatory School. These are just a few of my favorite images.

Quyen and Yedeh recently had their wedding at the Artists for Humanity Epicenter. You may remember Quyen and Yedeh from their engagement session this past fall.

This is a very special blog post because I photographed this wedding with my favorite second-shooter/partner-in-crime/collaborator Li Ward of Fat Orange Cat Studio. We have been (somewhat) joking for a while that we should start a new branch of our businesses: Rigby & Ward — we just have that much fun working together. Li calligraphed the logo (below) for our fantasy business. I present to you… Quyen and Yedeh’s wedding… a Rigby & Ward production!
