Kristin & Jason: Arlington Town Hall Wedding

Kristin and Jason were recently married at the prettiest town hall in greater Boston: Arlington Town Hall. What’s unique about Arlington Town Hall is that they can host wedding receptions. A few notes about their wedding… their insanely cool wedding cake was designed by Wildflour. Kristin’s shoes were from Betsey Johnson. Veronica of Blue Ivy Events coordinated their wedding day, and Nate of White Label Wedding DJs was their DJ. Bow Street Flowers designed their floral arrangements, which included blue roses flown in from Europe.

What can I say except thank you. When you take someone’s photograph, you take a little bit of that person. The person being photographed is giving you something. Laura & Andy: Boston Harbor Hotel Wedding

Here are some of my favorite photographs from Laura and Andy’s wedding. They were recently married at the Holy Name Catholic Church in West Roxbury — the same church where Andy’s parents were married, and their reception took place at the Boston Harbor Hotel. Laura’s family — most of whom are from South America — made the trip to Boston for their wedding. Laura and Andy’s wedding was coordinated by Tangorra Wedding Planning. Entertainment by Kahootz.

Most people would be a little freaked out about a hurricane forecast to land during their wedding reception, but Jen and Greg were so happy about this day that nothing could get them down. We went with the flow and made a last minute decision to photograph their portraits before the ceremony, just so we could get some nice outdoor shots. Jen and Greg were one of the happiest, coolest couples I’ve worked with this year. These are some my favorite photos from their wedding at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross and the Seaport Boston Hotel.

I was sad that I didn’t get to photograph their cat Gino wearing his tux — I love animals and am a little crazy about my own cats. But Gino was freaked out by all the wedding day commotion and wouldn’t come out from under the bed. He is adorable but not as laid-back as Jen and Greg. I felt that Gino still needed to be represented so I photographed the ring bearer with his portrait.

These are some of my favorite photographs from Talia and Chris’ wedding at the Hampshire House. Their wedding ceremony took place just across the street in the Public Garden. The reception at the Hampshire House incorporated details from Chris’ home country, Australia. The stunning floral arrangements were designed by Petalena.
