What can I say except thank you. When you take someone’s photograph, you take a little bit of that person. The person being photographed is giving you something. Thank you to all of the 42 couples I worked with in 2011. Thank you for sharing some of your most important moments, and for sharing part of yourselves with me and with the world.
These are some of my favorite photographs from Caitlin and Dean’s recent wedding. You might remember them from last year, when I photographed their engagement session.
A few notes about their wedding…. the photos of Caitlin getting ready were taken at the Millennium Hotel. Their wedding ceremony took place at St. Mary’s Church in Quincy, and we photographed their portraits at Christopher Columbus Park in Boston. Caitlin and Dean’s reception was held at the State Room. The bride and bridesmaids’ hair and makeup was done by Caitlin Murphy. Crazy dancing incited by Clockwork.
Aimee and Rob live in NYC and recently traveled to Boston for their engagement photos. In November 2012 they’ll have their wedding ceremony at Our Lady of Victories in Boston. I love that name — “Our Lady of Victories.” They are one of the six couples I’m working with in 2012 who are having their reception at the Boston Public Library.
