Vinh and Lik Fun found me through flickr, a photo sharing site I’ve been using for the past few years. I started my flickr page in 2006, before I decided to become a wedding photographer. As I was going through my flickr stream recently, it was fun to see how my work has progressed over the past three years. I think I even have some drawings posted on there that I did in high school!
Although Vinh and Lik Fun had around 100 guests at their wedding, they wanted a second photographer. See, they’re my kind of clients — they’re really into photographs. So I want to thank my second photographer and assistant on this assignment, Cait Robbins. She took some awesome photos that I’ll be adding to this wedding collection.
Incidentally, this was the fourth tea ceremony that I’ve photographed in the past few weeks! Until this year I had never even been to a tea ceremony, but I have to say I enjoy the tradition. I feel like I’m getting to be a pro at photographing tea ceremonies! I was at a wedding recently and someone said “I’m not really sure how we do this” and I almost had to stop myself from stepping in!![]()
