Darcy + Jason

Darcy and Jason were married this past week in a small civil ceremony at the Lenox Hotel in Boston. The wedding ceremony was held in the Heritage Room and the reception followed at the hotel’s Azure restaurant. I like the Lenox because it’s sort of “old Boston” mixed with modern. Not to mention the staff were friendly and helpful.

Around 30 family members and close friends attended the wedding, and we photographed a ton of formals! I have an outtake from that portion of the evening below.

I photographed Darcy and Jason’s wedding for two hours, and we got so many lovely pictures. Eight hours is my standard wedding photography coverage, but I’m sometimes able to do shorter photography sessions in the “off season” (November – March), and on weeknights (Monday – Thursday).

This was also the first wedding where I used my new Canon 5D Mk II. So far so good!
